Terms of use

By using DXCAD2D Online (https://www.dxcad2d.com) you accept the terms below. The website is operated by an individual in Thailand ("we"). The Thai version of these terms is the governing version; this English version is provided for convenience.

1. Free use

You may use the drafting program for free, for personal, educational and commercial work — for example drawings for a laser-cutting shop or part drawings for customers — without asking permission or giving credit. The free version shows advertising.

2. Rights to your drawings

The drawings and files you create (.json, .dxf, .svg and so on) are yours. We claim no ownership of them.

The program, the name, the logo and the website content (such as the articles) belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission.

Copyright in the program

The source code of DXCAD2D Online (the JavaScript, HTML and CSS files we wrote) is copyright © 2026 DXCAD2D, all rights reserved. Using the program on this website does not give you the right to copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it, distribute or sell it, or offer it on another website, except with our written permission or where copyright law allows.

The osifont font used in the program belongs to its original authors and is published under the GNU LGPL v3 with a font exception (github.com/hikikomori82/osifont). The PDF reader (pdf.js, Apache-2.0) and fonts from Google Fonts (SIL Open Font License / Apache-2.0) are loaded from outside providers under their own licences and are not covered by our copyright above.

Trademarks

AutoCAD, DWG, DXF, SolidWorks, DraftSight, nanoCAD, LibreCAD, QCAD, FreeCAD, Inkscape and other product names mentioned on this website are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only for reference and to describe file compatibility. DXCAD2D Online is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the owners of those trademarks.

3. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". We try to make the program work correctly but do not guarantee that it is free of errors, always available, or fit for any particular purpose.

Important: you must check the sizes, units, scale and correctness of a drawing yourself before anything is manufactured, cut, machined, welded or used from it — including checking exported files (such as DXF) in the software of the shop or machine that will use them.

Drawings kept in your browser's storage (IndexedDB / localStorage) can be lost (for example when browser data is cleared). Always keep backup files.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit, loss of data, or damage from parts manufactured incorrectly, arising from the use of or inability to use this service. Our total liability to you, if any, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event, or 0 baht if you use the free service. This does not limit any liability that Thai law does not allow to be excluded.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the service for anything unlawful or that infringes the intellectual property of others
attempt to break into the system, disrupt the servers or access other users' data
use bots or scripts in a way that affects other users
click ads dishonestly or encourage others to click ads

We may suspend access to the service for anyone who breaks these terms.

6. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change or discontinue features and may update these terms from time to time, showing the new effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts, without affecting consumer rights protected by law.
