Privacy policy
This page explains what DXCAD2D Online collects, what it is used for, where it is kept and what rights you have under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). The Thai version of this policy is the governing version; this English version is provided for convenience.
1. Data controller
DXCAD2D Online (https://www.dxcad2d.com) is operated by an individual in Thailand ("we"). For anything about personal data, contact [email protected].
2. Your drawings (stored in your browser)
Drawings you make are stored in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) on the device you use, and are not sent to our servers. Files you open (DXF, PDF, images) are read and processed in your browser too. If you clear browser data, use a private window or change device, the drawing may be lost, so we recommend saving a .json file as well. We cannot recover drawings stored in your browser.
3. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)
This website shows advertising through Google AdSense so that it can stay free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Usage statistics
We may use Google Analytics to see overall usage — such as the number of visitors, pages opened and device types — to improve the website. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as a shortened IP address and browser details. We do not use these statistics to identify individuals.
5. Outside services the pages load
To display and work, the pages make your browser download some files directly from outside providers: fonts from Google Fonts, and the PDF reader (pdf.js) from cdnjs (Cloudflare) only when you open a PDF file. These providers receive the usual technical information of any connection, such as your IP address and browser type. The drawings you open or make are not sent to these providers; every file is read and processed in your own browser.
6. Consent for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
For visitors from these regions we use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) to ask for consent before cookies or data are used for personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link the CMP displays.
7. Legal bases and purposes
- Legitimate interests, such as keeping the system secure and analysing overall usage
- Consent where the law requires it, such as personalised advertising cookies in some regions
We do not sell your personal data.
8. How long data is kept
- Data in browser storage (IndexedDB / localStorage): stays on your device until you delete it.
- Third-party cookies: according to each provider's policy.
9. Your rights under the PDPA
Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) you have the following rights, subject to the conditions and exceptions in the law:
- to access and obtain a copy of your personal data
- to have data corrected and kept up to date
- to have data deleted, destroyed or anonymised
- to restrict or object to processing
- to data portability
- to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal)
- to complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee office (PDPC)
Send requests to [email protected]. We may ask for more information to verify your identity, and will reply within the time the law requires.
10. Children
This service is not aimed at collecting data from children under 13. Under Thai law, minors (under 20) may need the consent of a parent or guardian in some cases. If a parent finds that a child has given data without consent, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and rely on the security measures of the providers named above. No system is 100% secure, however, so please keep your own backup files of important drawings.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will show the new effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will give notice on the website.
13. Contact
