About DXCAD2D Online

DXCAD2D Online is a 2D CAD program that opens straight in your browser — free, nothing to install, no sign-up. It is made for people who need to open, fix or draw a part now and then but do not have a CAD program installed on the computer in front of them.

Why it exists

In real production work, drawings travel as DXF and PDF files between design, production, QC, laser-cutting shops and customers. Many of the people receiving them do not use CAD every day, and factory or classroom computers often cannot install software. DXCAD2D Online aims to make the basic jobs take minutes from any computer: view a drawing, measure it, change a size, add holes, dimension it, and export a file the shop or machine can open.

Our principles

• Your files stay on your computer. Drawings you make and files you open are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to a server — suitable for confidential company drawings.
• Every command is free, for personal, educational and commercial work. The site is funded by advertising.
• Standards drafters already know: millimetres, familiar CAD shortcuts, DXF R12 that nearly every program opens, and PDF drawings with a frame and title block.
• Thai and English on every page.

Who runs it

DXCAD2D Online is developed and maintained by an independent developer in Thailand who works in manufacturing. The tools and articles come from problems met in real work: preparing files for cutting shops, making inspection drawings and reading suppliers' drawings.
